At Wings Early Childcare Center, we value the journey and the destination.
Our upcoming Grand Gala features a silent auction of stellar experiences. You can travel far or near while making a meaningful difference to Pagosa Springs children from 6 weeks old to 5 years.
“Who needs more stuff to dust?” declared Wings Grand Gala chair Kim Moore when she announced the amazing travel opportunities businesses far and near have contributed to support Wings’ first fancy fundraiser. “These days, folks are eager to enjoy life and create memories. The Grand Gala silent auction promises to deliver many wonderful experiences. And the best part? All auction proceeds help us provide outstanding education and child care to our Wings students.”
The auction features two premier experiences:
• Escape to paradise with a luxurious five-night stay for four in a stunning beachfront Costa Rica retreat.
• Enjoy a romantic wine country three-night retreat in Oregon’s renowned Willamette Valley with curated wine tastings for two.
If you want to stay closer to home, consider these nearby adventures:
• A relaxing overnight stay at a charming inn includes breakfast and dinner for two and a private Georgia O’Keeffe landscape tour through Ghost Ranch.
• Be pampered overnight with luxury and relaxation for two, including dinner and brunch at a breathtaking estate in Pagosa Springs.
• A private tour package features a unique, private behind-the-scenes tour of the ski area hosted by Keith Pitcher, plus four lift tickets and lunch for four.
• The Ouray Escape delivers a night at an inn and dinner for two in “the Switzerland of America.”
• Another package for South Fork offers golf for four with golf carts and lunch.
• Enjoy dinner for two in Creede, then head over for an entertaining evening at the Creede Repertory Theater and stay the night at a lodge.
The online auction is now live at WingsEarlyChildhood.org.
In addition to the opportunity to take part in our auction of delightful experiences, the Wings Grand Gala promises an elegant summer evening at the picturesque Keyah Grande Guest House with delicious hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and music by one of Pagosa Springs’ favorites — Maxwell Miller.
Quality childhood education is critical to children’s lifelong success. Your support of the Wings Early Childhood Center Grand Gala helps to provide the outstanding care and education the center offers to children and families of Archuleta County. We rely on grants and private donations to subsidize tuition for families who otherwise could not afford quality early childhood education.
The Wings Grande Gala at Keyah Grande is June 24 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $100 each and are available at Tangled, 189 Talisman Drive, and online at WingsEarlyChildhood.org.
