Margaret Ann Hart (Maggie) passed peacefully at home in Pagosa Springs lounging in the sunshine on April 10, 2024.

Rita M. Werner, 81, of Pagosa Springs, Colo., was called home by our Lord on Feb. 23, 2024, in Midland, Texas. The memorial service for Rita Werner will be held May 8, 2024, at 4 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 56 Meadows Drive, Pagosa Springs, Colo.

Carol Ann Neville White passed quietly into God’s nearer presence in her Pagosa Springs residence on April 8, 2024, at the age of 84 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., on Aug. 10, 1939.

Born in Hamlin, Texas, in 1935. She married her childhood sweetheart, Glenn, in 1952. She was the first in her family to receive Christ as her savior. Joy went on to convert her husband, Glenn, who then became a minister, and she then served as a minister’s wife for 48 years and helped Glenn to start several new churches in many states.

Melanie Madaline Morgan, born on May 28, 1944, in Macomb, Ill., was the second of four daughters born to Daniel M. Morgan and N. Madaline Welsh Morgan. Growing up, the family moved from Illinois to Nebraska to Grand Junction, Colo., back to Illinois, then Iowa and Idaho, finally settling in Grand Junction. Her only child, David D. Guthrie, was born on Dec. 28, 1969.

Martin Granados Moreno, 55, passed away on April 14, 2024,at Mercy Hospital. He was a beloved father, son and uncle. Born in Uruachi, Chihuahua, Mexico, Martin was the son of Ma. De Jesus Moreno and Reymundo Granados.

Carol Ann White, beloved by her family and the many first-graders she taught, passed quietly in her home on Monday, April 8, 2024.

Mary Dell Walls went to be with the Lord on March 4, 2024, at the age of 80. She was born in Two Rivers, Wis., on June 11, 1943, to parents Henry and Beulah Zeihen.

After years of struggling with health issues, Becky Ann Thorne passed away peacefully at her home in Pagosa Springs on March 24, 2024.

Faye Cordova was surrounded by all her children when she was called home to heaven on March 28, 2024.  She was greeted by her loving husband, Joe Cordova, and her two sons, Robert and Michael Cordova.

Warren Joseph Grams passed away at home on March 13 , 2024. Warren was born on Dec. 1, 1937, in Glen Cove, N.Y.

Mrs. Alta Lee Kimble, age 82, passed away Monday, March 25, in Pagosa Springs, Colo. She resided in the Beehive of Pagosa Springs since moving back to the area in June 2023.

Robert was born Jan. 24, 1950 in St. Louis, Mo., to Robert and Neoma (Steinhans) Wall. He grew up in Cahokia, Ill., and Alhambra, Ill. He joined the Army in1971. He has a son, Brad McAtee, and a daughter, Alyssa Wall.

Alan William Dreeben passed away peacefully at home on March 21 at the age of 80. Alan was born on July 3, 1943, in Dallas, Texas, to Bertha and Milton Dreeben.

Justin Chad Sweeney, age 48, passed away in the early morning hours of Feb. 21, 2024, in Durango, Colo., his father and brother at his side. He was known for this loving and caring nature, as well as his sense of humor.

Moises Christopher Martinez, affectionately known as Moe, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the age of 87. Born on April 11, 1936, in Bayfield, Colo., Moises lived a life rich in love, service and laughter.

Francisco Orlando Gomez Jr., “Frank,” passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 65.

Linda Jean Hobbs lived an honorable life dedicated to empowering and equipping people to achieve big things.

Corey John Henricksen, 28, was born June 1, 1995, and passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024.
