Wolf Creek Ski Area will be closed from Sunday, Nov. 1, until the mandatory evacuation order in Archuleta County is lifted.
This is a precautionary measure based on recommendations from local and state authorities. Archuleta County has experienced a 100-year flood with record-breaking flooding in the San Juan River Basin.
All municipal, county and state agencies are under extreme duress and as a precautionary measure, Wolf Creek Ski Area has determined it is in the best interest of the public to temporarily be closed.
