The Pagosa Springs High School (PSHS) track and field team took part in the 15-team Ron Keller Invitational Monday in Durango after the event was rescheduled from Saturday due to inclement weather.

“Yesterday was really windy, but at least it wasn’t snowing. It was a good meet with some good competition, coach Connie O’Donnell wrote in a Tuesday email to The SUN. “We were missing about 11 athletes because of FBLA in Denver.”

The coach also notes the team ran more relays at the meet, “but seemed to struggle with handoffs. I’m not sure if that was because of the wind or if we were just off that day.”
