Commissioners deny rezone request for tiny home park on U.S. 84

During a regular meeting on Aug. 19, the Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC), acting as the Board of Adjustment, denied a general variance request for paving requirements for a project known as Tiny Pagosa.

Library receives Pilcrow Foundation book grant

The Ruby Sisson Library was recently awarded the Children’s Book Project grant from the Pilcrow Foundation.  Through a generous anonymous donor located in Massachusetts, $1,200 worth of gorgeous new books were added to the collection. Colorado donors Hal Berenson and Laura Ackerman provided an additional $400 worth of new math and science books, and California donors Bill Strawbridge and Meg Wallhagen donated $300 worth of books related to health and wellness.
