The Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) is now open in a limited capacity in a new location.
The ACSO administrative office is now located at 12 Goldmine Drive, near Proline Supply on Put Hill.
The building will house the offices of the sheriff, undersheriff, office manager and administrative assistant.
Other ACSO functions (patrol, detentions, investigations) are housed in an operations center in a neighboring building at 84 Goldmine Drive.
Sheriff Rich Valdez stated that the office is again able to do VIN inspections and fingerprints, and concealed weapon permits will be added to that list soon.
