Please join the Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on Sunday, Oct. 15, at 10:30 a.m. either in person or on Zoom for Michael Demchak’s presentation on “Reflecting on Divinity.”

In this service Demchak will present some of the concepts that attempt to describe and understand a higher power of the universe. He will look at various religions, trilogies, concepts of God, gods and goddesses, prophets and more.

Demchak will also review what science has to say about the divine state and other phenomena. Having been blessed by divine encounters himself, he will also share some of his experiences and theories on this fascinating subject.

Demchak is a member of the Steering Committee and Sunday Service Committee.

Join the Zoom meeting at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/8991941305. The meeting ID is 899 194 1305 and the call-in number is (346) 248-7799.

Masks are optional at this time. Social distancing will be encouraged and, to that end, the maximum capacity of the fellowship has been reduced to 25, a very good reason for arriving a few minutes early.

Our fellowship offers each individual support in their unique spiritual path and an opportunity to participate in positive social and environmental action. We welcome diversity and invite everyone to share in our faith community.

Find us in Unit B-15 of the Greenbriar Plaza, 301 N. Pagosa Blvd., on the north side facing the mountains.

Services are on the first and third Sundays of the month at 10:30 a.m. Meditation, based on cultivating the Four Immeasurables (love, compassion, joy and equanimity), is on the second and fourth Sundays at 9 a.m. Qigong is on Tuesdays at 1:15 p.m.

For more information about the fellowship, our services and the other activities, please see the website, www.pagosauu.org, or email info@pagosauu.org.
