New Thought Center to meet Sunday

Sunday service on Feb. 4 at 11 a.m. with Jenelle Syverson, chocolatier, will focus on “Spiritual lessons of the Heart from Chocolate, a gift from Heaven.”

“Cacao opens your heart, the gateway to hear your inner spirit and wisdom. You will experience the world of meditation at a higher spiritual level. Choosing to live with cacao means you are bringing peace to your mind and soul daily.” — Aztec/Mayan saying. 

 There will be strawberry and chocolate dipping after.

Upcoming events

SpiritHeart Band practice is Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. We welcome musicians and singers to join the SpiritHeart band. Please text Bruce at (970) 507-0739 for band information.

Feb. 11: Open heart ceremony to celebrate the heart and universal love with Shayla White Eagle.

March 17: St. Patrick’s Day celebration with live music, food and fun. The date is to be announced.

April: New Mexico spiritual retreat.

May 5, 11 a.m.: Wolfwood Refuge tour and picnic.

The New Thought Center is a 501(c)(3) and promotes philosophies similar to Centers for Spiritual Living and Agape Centers. 

The SpiritHeart Band provides live music every Sunday. We welcome local talents to share gifts, aptitudes and knowledge. Participate, learn or contribute your insights, beliefs, knowledge and skills. 

New Thought events are held at 3505 W. U.S. 160, on the second floor of the Pagosa Lodge (elevator available).
