The Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) is warning residents about a new scam that is beginning to occur in the county.
According to ACSO Undersheriff Tonya Hamilton, the scam begins with a man calling up local residents and introducing himself as “Deputy Walker” of the ACSO.
