We, in Archuleta County, live within a wildland-urban interface (WUI) area. We are at inherent risk of having wildfires.
Some years we have had more rain than we usually do, thus our grasses can grow to extreme heights. This kind of weather pattern can set us up later for some tremendous fire conditions in the summer.
