From the Oct. 15, 1970, Pagosa SUN — PASSENGERS — 20 Passengers and the crew of a passenger plane landing here Tuesday of this week made a sizable crowd at Stevens Field. The plane’s flying time from Denver is one hour and 15 minutes from takeoff to landing. This is the first commercial airliner ever to land at Stevens Field.
