The Archuleta County offices located in the 449 San Juan St. building in downtown Pagosa Springs will remain closed until further notice.
The closure is due to a June 12 arson event and pending on-site visits by insurance agencies, according to an Archuleta County press release. County associates will not be able to re-enter the premises until these visits are complete.
A total of 27 employees are currently displaced by damage from the fire, with most damage being smoke-related, the press release notes. The offices of the clerk and recorder, treasurer, assessor and human resources are working to help residents with various county business, including registrations, renewals and tax payments.
"Many services are available online and constituents are still being served," said BoCC chair Veronica Medina via the press release. "County business is still being conducted with the availability and equipment that they have."
Following is department-specific information from Archuleta County.
