Holiday travel, winter weather, seasonal illnesses,and busy year-end schedules often result in fewer blood donations during the winter months.
Patient needs, however, don’t take a holiday.
Hospitals rely on blood donations every day to help accident victims, cancer patients, surgical patients, new mothers and others in need of lifesaving transfusions.
You can help strengthen the blood supply this winter by registering and attending our next drive scheduled at the Pagosa Lakes Property Owners Association Clubhouse on Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
