Hit the slopes at Wolf Creek and support a good cause at the same time. You know that a day on the slopes is always better than a day at work. Ski or snowboard at Wolf Creek on Wednesday, Jan. 15, and benefit local non-profit organizations by doing so.

Lift tickets are just $49 for adults on United Way Ski and Save Day. Wolf Creek Ski Area will donate $11 from every adult lift ticket to United Way in Archuleta County.

When you buy a discounted ticket on United Way Ski and Save Day, you will help United Way reach our 2013/2014 campaign goal of $78,880.

These funds support 12 local agencies and programs that promote education, healthy lifestyles and self-reliance. All funds raised in Archuleta County stay in Archuleta County, benefiting our friends and neighbors.

United Way of Archuleta County is working hard to reach our goal of $78,880. You can help us raise needed funds for all of these local organizations: Big Brothers Big Sisters; Girl Scouts of Colorado; Seeds of Learning; American Red Cross Southwest Colorado Chapter; San Juan Basin Area on Aging; Archuleta County Victim Assistance Program; Habitat for Humanity of Archuleta County; Housing Solutions for the Southwest; Pagosa Outreach Connection; Southwest Conservation Corps; Volunteers of America Southwest Safehouse; and Axis Health System.

Enjoy the snow at Wolf Creek Ski Area for the day with United Way. You benefit from the exercise and fresh air, and your whole community benefits, as well.
