The monthly meeting of Mountain High Gardeners will be held on May 20 and will be a field trip to Bayfield Nursery and Garden Center, followed by a taste of Bayfield.
While members are encouraged to “shop Pagosa,” once each year the club plans a trip to an outlying garden center.
Members and guests will meet at 10 a.m. in the Alco parking lot and carpool to Bayfield. Staff at the nursery and club members will be available to answer questions about plants best suited for Pagosa-area gardens.
Following the tour, groups may return to Pagosa or dine at area restaurants. Lists will be distributed to attendees.
Guests are always welcome. The following meeting will be a tour of local gardens on June 10.
