Answer: Keyah Grande — at the Pagosa Springs Rotary Club’s Kentucky Derby Gala.
This elegant soiree will have it all: ladies and gentlemen in colorful hats, wagering on the thoroughbreds, food, “live” music, and your choice of a mint julep or other beverage at the cash bar.
Plus, the charm and grandeur of Keyah Grande.
You’ll stand and sing “My Old Kentucky Home” with the millions of people around the world who’ll be watching the Derby on TV and you’ll watch ,“the fastest two minutes in sports,” with your 200 newest/best Pagosa friends.
The afternoon of fun begins at 2 p.m. and ends at 6. All of this for just $35 per person.
And, as usual, the money raised at this event helps fund local Rotary projects such as scholarships for local high school grads going on to college.

While you may not get to touch any gazillion-dollar thoroughbred horses, you will get to watch them streak around the track at Churchill Downs.
