On Tuesday, Feb. 23, 25 Gray Wolf Ski Club members hiked up to Alberta Peak at Wolf Creek Ski Area, with their skis on their shoulders, to celebrate the 80th birthday milestones of members Ron Chacey and Lynn Warner. It was a beautiful bluebird day and the mood of those participating was just as sunny as the skies. The hike has become a tradition, started in 2009, for those members who choose to make the demanding hike to the 11,870-foot peak at the ripe young age of 80. Chacey’s and Warner’s names will be added to the other 10 names on the trophy that hangs in Base Camp. Congratulations to you both.
