St. Francis Wildlife Rehabilitation, the regional wild bird rescue and rehabilitation organization, is hosting its first golf tournament at Pagosa Springs Golf Club.
“Birdies for the Birds” is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 5, with sign-in beginning at 8 a.m. and a tee-off time of 10.
All proceeds will directly benefit the non-profit group, which has been caring for sick and injured wild birds since 2004.
Registration can be made online at the website, www.letthembefree.org, at the Pagosa Springs Golf Club or at Radio Shack in Pagosa Springs.
Great prizes await the winners, as well as lunch and a beautiful day golfing in picturesque Pagosa Springs in the autumn.
