Known as Wayne, he was born April 26, 1949, in Hattiesburg, Miss.
He is survived by his companion and life partner, Cher Logsdon; two sons, Jason (Mary) and Kevin (Anita); five grandchildren; brother Douglas (Betty) Logan; and stepfather Arthur Breazeale.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Monita Breazeale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chimney Rock Interpretive Association.
