Hunter education classes will be held Oct. 17-18 or Oct. 31-Nov. 1.
Class sessions will take place from 5:30-10 p.m. on Thursday and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday
Students must attend Thursday and Friday of one or the other session. Students wanting to attend just the Friday session will not be admitted.
Sessions will be held at the San Juan Mounted Patrol Building, 302 San Juan St.
Cost is $20 per student.
These courses will be open to anyone wishing to obtain a hunter safety card. If you were born on or after Jan. 1, 1949, you are required to have a hunter safety card before you can purchase a hunting license. These will be the last classes taught in Pagosa Springs in 2013.
