Special to The SUN

The Foundation for Archuleta County Education (FACE) has awarded its grants for the 2016-2017 school year.

Each spring, FACE contacts all district teachers, home-school parents and the principal at the Valor Academy to offer grants for $1,000 to help support educational equipment or programing that will enrich the learning experience. The foundation also has supported district competitive educational teams that have the opportunity to compete at a national level.
