The DUST2 Middle School Adventure Team had 21 riders hit the dirt this year, bringing high energy, huge smiles and serious work ethic to every single ride.
From excelling in coaches’ random challenge games to watching most of the squad crush double-digit mileage at practice after practice was proof of just how much everyone leveled up their endurance and trail skills while having fun.
Big props to the four riders — Kiley Braun, Felix Long, Tyson Sewell and Rafe Halterman— who toughed it out through the dusty Colorado League Race in Eagle to represent us at the first-ever Middle School Mayhem — way to charge.
We’re also sending a huge high-five to our graduating eigth-graders as they pedal on to high school. A few of these riders have been riding with us since fifth grade, which means they’ve been around long enough to see the coaches take a spill or two.
We’re going to miss the stoke and personality they brought to the group, but we can’t wait to see them tear it up on the high school race circuit.
Massive thanks to all the riders, coaches and parents who made this season pure stoke. Keep wheelin’ around, and see you out on the trails.
