Archuleta County crews, with the help of neighboring firefighting crews, battled a 4.3-acre fire southwest of Pagosa Springs early this week.
The fire was dubbed the Cabezon Fire and was located about a mile up County Road 917 into Cabezon Canyon, said incident commander Christina Marquart of the Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office Division of Emergency Management.
The fire was reported at about 3 p.m. Sunday.
