The Upper San Juan Health Service District had a “good revenue month” in April, coming out with gross patient revenue about $250 million over budget, reported board treasurer Karl Irons during the district board meeting May 27.
However, April’s successes were also accompanied by many challenges — most associated with the recent implementation of Cerner.
The 11-percent increase in revenue this month was attributed to in-patient surgeries.
