Some encouraging news as Pagosa Springs continues moving forward with flood recovery:
• Bridge reopening: The Hot Springs Boulevard bridge is expected to reopen shortly, marking another positive step in our community's recovery.
• Help has arrived: Crews from Durango and Boulder have arrived in Pagosa Springs to assist our local teams with ongoing sewer system repairs.
To our friends and neighbors who have traveled here to lend a hand — thank you. Your generosity, teamwork and willingness to help mean so much to our community.
While repairs continue, residents are encouraged to keep conserving water by taking shorter showers, limiting laundry and avoiding unnecessary water use.
There is still work ahead, but each repair, reopening and helping hand brings us another step closer to recovery.
