Local hunter education classes for Spring of 2013 have been scheduled.
If you were born on or after January 1, 1949, you are required to have a hunter safety card before you can purchase a hunting license.
Youth classes, for students 17 and younger, will be held March 18, 20, 22 and 23.
Students 18 and older should attend the adult classes scheduled for March 25, 27, 29 and 30.
Courses will be from 6 until 9 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with the Saturday session lasting from 8 a.m. until noon.
Students must attend all sessions for their class. There is no charge for the sessions.
Classes will be held in the South Conference Room of the Ross Aragon Community Center located at 451 Hot Springs Boulevard.
The range day for both classes will be held on Saturday, March 30. Youth class students will be finished no later than 10 a.m. on range day.
