The Archuleta Health Fair and Expo is an important community event that promotes our health and wellness.
This year, more than 50 organizations have come together to support community health and wellness at the health fair, along with more than 50 community volunteers. These organizations are offering health screenings and lab draws, providing informational booths, supporting education tables, and sponsoring the event to bring these resources to our community. In addition to local exhibitors and vendors, organizations are coming from Durango and Denver to share information and services with the community.
Be sure to stop by the event to support your individual and the community’s health and wellness. To see a full list of services and exhibitors, visit Healthy Archuleta’s website at https://www.foodcoalition4archuleta.org/archuleta-health-fair-and-expo.html.
The farm-to-table lunch will begin at 11 a.m. and feature a keynote presentation by Stacey Foss and Dr. Asit Goswami on “Stress and Health - Practical Tools for Everyday Resilience.”
Foss is a licensed addictions counselor at Authentic Solutions Consulting, and Goswami is the medical director of acute care at Pagosa Springs Medical Center. Both are well-versed experts in how stress affects our physical and mental health and well-being.
Don’t wait; register today to attend the Archuleta Health Fair and Expo. Those who register before the event will be entered into a drawing for a hot springs soaking pass.
