Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship to hold Going Deeper Sharing Circle Sunday

Posted

The Pagosa Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (PUUF) will use the hymn “We Laugh, We Cry,” written by Shelley Denham, in “Singing the Living Tradition Hymnal,” as grounding words for the Going Deeper Sharing Circle on Sunday, Oct. 11, as we look to our monthly theme of living the questions.

This small group meets the second Sunday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to noon. We gather to reflect and share as we practice deep listening.

The setting for this circle is similar to group spiritual direction and has been used in all faith traditions throughout the centuries. If this piques a curiosity, join us in this open, safe circle of deepening your own life’s journey and spiritual growth.

We will explore the following questions to go a bit deeper, allowing space for new questions that may arise within the group:

• What are the big questions that are currently shaping your life? How do you know when a question is inviting a chance for deeper learning and connection?

• What have you learned from others to help you live with mystery and openness? What helps you feel curious about new things?

Visit our website, PagosaUU.org, where you will find information about upcoming services and programs.

We offer space for ongoing programs and events at the UU Community Hub, such as the Tara Meditation Group held Sundays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Qigong practice on Monday afternoons at 1 p.m. The Wise and Wakeful Circle, hosted by Elaine Harding and Sam Johnson, meets the second and fourth Saturdays at 10 a.m.

The Pagosa UU Fellowship is located in the Greenbriar Plaza, Unit B-15, 301 N. Pagosa Blvd., on the north side facing Pagosa Peak. We celebrate diversity and foster a spiritual home for open minds, loving hearts and helping hands.
