We’ll miss kicking off Pagosa Folk ‘N Bluegrass on Reservoir Hill Friday, June 5, this year, but we’re excited to present a virtual live music experience to raise our spirits.

KSUT will broadcast two live sets for our virtual attendees, featuring a solo acoustic set by Lucinda Williams, followed by the duo of Tim O’Brien with Jan Fabricius.

You can watch the performances on our Facebook Live, tune in to KSUT on the radio, stream KSUT or listen on your smart speaker.

Williams performs at 7 p.m.

“It’s all come full circle,” said Williams about her powerful new album, “Good Souls, Better Angels.”

After more than 40 years of music making, the pioneering, Louisiana-born artist has returned to the gritty blues foundation that first inspired her as a young singer-songwriter in the late 1970s. She spent the last year on her sold-out Car Wheels 20th anniversary tour (including her Durango show), and released her new album in April while in quarantine at her East Nashville home. We’re excited to present Williams performing an intimate solo acoustic set for our virtual event.

Tim O’Brien with Jan Fabricius will perform a virtual Pagosa Folk ‘N Bluegrass festival set at 8 p.m. Friday.[/caption]

O’Brien and Fabricius perform at 8 p.m. Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist O’Brien grew up singing in church and in school and, after seeing Doc Watson on TV, became a lifelong devotee of old-time and bluegrass music. O’Brien first toured nationally with Colorado bluegrass band Hot Rize and has collaborated with many great musicians. He’s a core artist for KSUT and has been a beloved performer at Pagosa, other regional festivals and his Durango shows.

O’Brien performs in a duet setting with his partner, Jan Fabricius, on harmony vocals. We’re thrilled to have O’Brien and Fabricius perform from their home studio in Nashville for this occasion.

Viewing and listening is free, however, our virtual tip jar will benefit KSUT and the performers.

We appreciate your support.
