“The item before you today,” Town Manager Greg Schulte explained to the council, “is a reasonably routine item. The town, as does most jurisdictions, has what I would call a year-end budget true-up, if you will. At the beginning of the year, you adopt a budget and appropriate funds, and as is the case, things inevitably come up during the year, both from a revenue and an expense standpoint.”
