The Southwestern Colorado Area Health Education Center (SWCAHEC) recently unveiled its new website, www.swcahec.org.
The newly improved site builds upon the organization’s theme, “pathways to health,” and offers a substantial amount of health-related information that is beneficial to health care professionals, students and the communities served by SWCAHEC.
Executive Director Kathleen McInnis said the website will be updated frequently with information about local events, trainings and education programs. “We are so proud of our new site. Not only will be it be interactive, but it also contains loads of information and resources for community members, local providers, nurses and students interested in pursuing health careers.”
The new website features valuable information regarding programs and many photos of the events sponsored and supported by SWCAHEC. Those interested in participating in trainings will now be able to retrieve a calendar, forms and applications, or sign up for programs online.
McInnis added, “Our new site is now an important tool for anyone interested in health issues for the communities in which they live.”
SWCAHEC is a regional non-profit organization in southwestern Colorado that broadly focuses on improving rural health in eight counties: Archuleta, Dolores, Hinsdale, La Plata, Montezuma, Ouray, San Juan and San Miguel. SWCAHEC provides support and programs for the community, health professionals and students interested in advancing health.
