Susan was born to William and Evelyn Wrenn in Denver, Colo. She grew up in Sharon, Pa. She spent her freshman year at University of Nebraska in Lincoln. She met her future husband, Bill Haney, at RCA Corp in Camden, N.J., where she was an executive secretary.

Bill and Susan had two boys and the family lived in Lansdale, Pa.; Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Austin, Texas, as technology jobs created opportunities. Most of this time, Susan chose to be a homemaker and was truly grateful for the task. She excelled at creating/trying new recipes. Her childhood times at her grandparents’ farm in Herman, Neb., held fond memories for her and shaped her character.

Bill and Susan retired to Pagosa Springs in 2012 in a beautiful home that she enjoyed for eight years. They loved the mountains and the town. She loved canning fresh fruit and vegetables and scrapbooking. She focused on crafting personal cards for close friends and family for birthdays and holidays.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, William and Evelyn Wrenn, and her sister, Anne Smalley.

Susan is survived by her husband, Bill, of 51 years; her sons: Rob Haney and family, and Tony Haney and family; her brother-in-law, Fred Smalley; her cousins: Mary Jo Lutz, Deb and Lee Cozens, and many extended family and friends; she will be forever missed.

Services for Susan will be held at a later date. Please donate to a charity of your choice, in honor of Susan.
