Staff at Navajo Reservoir prepares for dry summer

“If I remember my Shakespeare correctly, there is a line from Henry IV that goes, ‘don’t shoot the messenger,’” said Nigel Travis, marine manager at Navajo State Park at the beginning of a Navajo Reservoir recreational meeting Monday night.

During the first meeting of the season, boaters and lake enthusiasts got together to eat chili and discuss updates dealing with water levels at Navajo Reservoir. Unfortunately, they did not receive good news.
