Society Daughters of the American Revolution
The Sarah Platt Decker Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will meet Saturday, Sept. 18, at 10:30 a.m. at the Summit Church, 2917 Aspen Drive, Durango, Colo.
The speaker will be Laurie Meininger, president of the League of Women Voters, Durango.
Membership in the DAR is open to any woman 18 years or older who can prove lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence.
