The Region 9 Economic Development District of Southwest Colorado announces several additions to its board of directors, approved at the July 31 quarterly meeting held in Dolores.
Tommy Crosby, economic opportunity manager for the City of Durango, was elected to the Region 9 Executive Committee.
Several other representatives joined the board, including Janae Hunderman, Fort Lewis College director of career and workforce development; Cathleen Giovannini, Archuleta County alternate; Gilda Yazzie, City of Durango mayor; Andres Esparza, Town of Mancos alternate; and Matt Salka, La Plata County commissioner.
The Region 9 Board of Directors includes 17 government representatives and alternates and nine at-large members.
The next meeting will be held on Sept. 25.
