Calling all cowgirls!
Don’t forget the mandatory meeting for the 2014 Red Ryder Rodeo Queen and Princess Monday, June 3, at 6 p.m. at the Extension Office.
We must have at least two contestants each for both queen and princess, or the contest will be cancelled for this year.
Princess contestants must be between 8-13 years old and queen contestants is open to girls ages 14-21.
The contest will be held later in June and will consist of a horsemanship pattern in the arena (given ahead of time), circling the arena and performing the queen’s wave, herding cattle, and dismounting to answer a few questions from the judges.
