The Colorado Department of Transportation announced Thursday that highway resurfacing operations are switching to daytime hours.

Traffic impacts

• Daytime work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Motorists should plan for one-lane alternating traffic with delays from County Road 139/Boyles School Road (mile point 135.5), west of Pagosa Springs, to the U.S. 160/U.S. 84 junction (mile post 144.9). No work will occur between North 14th Street (mile post 142.8) and North 1st Street near the San Juan River (mile post 143.9), through downtown Pagosa Springs.

Daytime work will take place for the remainder of the project. Work will consist of main line paving, shoulder paving, rumble strip installation and striping. The project has an anticipated completion date of mid-November.
