Mary Ellen Quezada was born in Edith, Colo., to Eufemio and Margaret Talamante Oct. 29, 1959. She worked many years at The Junction Restaurant and was loved by all the employees, as well as the customers. She had two kids but adopted many more through her years at The Junction.Mary Ellen passed away June 9 in her home at 5:45 p.m. She is survived by her husband, Manuel Quezada, son Eric Quezada, daughter Ana Quezada, daughter-in-law Rachael Quezada and five wonderful grandkids: Enrique, Viktory, Oscar, Ana J. and Daniel Quezada.
She loved spending time with friends and family, laughing and just enjoying life to the fullest and even though her health wasn’t very good, she was strong and always had a smile on her face, she was a counselor, mom, wife, grandma and a wonderful person who will be missed by many. We love you, mom. See you in heaven.
