1952 - 2013
Jeffrey Ross Papple, 61, of Orange County, Calif., passed away on Aug. 8, 2013, with his wife, Connie Lee Papple, by his side. He was born in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, on Jan. 1, 1952. He always said his birthday was celebrated with a parade, games and a holiday. Jeff graduated from West Covina High School in 1970 and received a bachelor of science in business construction and psychology from BYU in 1974. He married his high school sweetheart and best friend on July 22, 1972, and they recently celebrated their 41st anniversary, holding hands in Colorado. Jeff started his first business when he was 25 years old. Jeff was a successful business owner of 20th Century Air, Inc. for over 30 years. His intelligence is exceeded only by the goodness of his heart. Jeff enjoyed snowboarding, exercising, hiking, riding his Harley, taking naps (anywhere he could find a spot), reading, traveling, attending to the needs of his family and most of all simply laughing.
Jeff is survived by four beautiful daughters, Kimberly Anne Hunt, Tamara Rachelle Baker, Lisa Marie Papple and Julie Christina Papple; two loving sons-in-law, Ross Hunt and Scott Baker, Gabriele Lona; five amazing grandchildren who he adored, Ethan Jeffrey Hunt, Emma Elizabeth Hunt, Ella Louise Hunt, Brayden Scott Baker and BreeAnn Rachelle Baker; and most of all, he is survived by his wife, his best friend, love of his life and confidant, Connie Lee Papple. We know he will be missed by many, but will never be forgotten.
A funeral service will be held Aug. 24, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 441 S. Fairmont Blvd., Anaheim, Calif.. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations made in Jeff’s honor to Kristie’s Foundation. This foundation focuses on end-of-life children and their families.
