New Thought Center for Inspirational Living

The Sunday services on Oct. 8 and 15 at 10:30 a.m. will be a two-part series on compassion with Larry and Evelyn Malone, marriage and family counselors.

The Malones will address compassion with a heartfelt message on Oct. 8, “Mindful Self Compassion.”

“Embracing mindful self compassion is a process of accepting our humanity and acknowledging our hurts and wounds, and sometimes our errors in judgment. It involves forgiving ourselves for not being all-knowing and all-powerful.

“The work embeds self-compassion into the body so that we actually shift the feelings and sensations that we hold in a given situation.”— Larry and Evelyn Malone.
