According to the Pagosa Ranger District, Mosca Road has been cleared of debris and is open for 9.5 miles heading toward the Sand Creek Gravel Pit on the San Juan National Forest.
Mosca Road is approximately 19 miles northwest of Pagosa Springs off Piedra Road. The report states that the remainder of the road is washed out and impassable due to the current wet-weather conditions. Travelers should be aware that there are minimal places to safely turn around. Signs are posted on-site to warn of these conditions.
