Miles Edward Davidson Jr. lost his 12-year battle with Alzheimer’s on Feb. 2.
Miles was born Jan. 28, 1942, in Plaquemine, La. He was a kind and loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Miles E. Davidson Sr. and Doris Marionneaux Davidson. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Connie Dier Davidson; daughter and son-in-law Bridget and Matt Treadwell and grandson Isaac Treadwell; son and daughter-in-law Miles (Trey) Edward Davidson III and Liz Tuegel Davidson; brother Dr. Edwin M. Davidson and wife Jeanne and his caring, extended family.
Miles received degrees in chemical engineering and law from Louisiana State University. He spent much of his professional career as an oil and gas attorney, working for Placid Oil Company in Dallas, Texas, and CITGO Petroleum in Tulsa, Okla.
Miles and Connie retired to Pagosa Springs in 2005. Miles will be remembered for his devotion to faith and family, his strong work ethic and his engaging smile and laughter.

A memorial service will be held at Centerpoint Church Friday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. We would like to thank our family and many friends who have loved, supported and prayed for us through this difficult journey.
