Pagosa Springs High School’s Colton Lucero took second at the state wrestling tournament Saturday evening, falling to Isaiah Gallegos from Jefferson in the first-place match.
The tournament also saw the Lady Pirate wrestling program’s first podium finish, with Laykyn Baxstrom garnering fourth.
Also placing at the season’s final tournament was Anthony Manzanares, who finished sixth.
