From the March 21, 1968 Pagosa SUN — UNIQUE SLOPE TRAVELER – Ted Dickey, operator of the big pomalift at Wolf Creek Ski Area, created a real eye catcher as well as a convenient method of coming down the slopes when he joined the frame and seat of a bicycle with two ski tips. Dickey uses the ski machine to travel to his job at the big pomalift by riding the small lift and skiing over and also to come down to the bottom at the end of the day.
