From the March 21, 1968, Pagosa SUN — LANDMARK – This building, probably one of the oldest in Pagosa Springs, is being torn down. Bill Lynn, owner of the property, plans to also tear down the building presently housing Lynn’s Dairy Creme, and will build a new, modern drive-in on the combined location. The building has been variously occupied by several lawyers, cafes, second hand and appliance store, antique store, and part of it used for residence purposes. While being torn down newspapers dated 1901 were found in the walls so it is presumed that it has been built since that time. It was located just east of the court house on the river bank.
