From the June 29, 1967, Pagosa SUN — HELP AT FIRE — The San Juan Lumber Co. sent one of its large machines to help with the fire at the Day Sawmill last week. The big machine picked up burning logs and lumber and hauled them to areas where they could not cause the fire to spread. This SUN photo shows the big machine with a load of burning boards.
