From the July 17, 1980 Pagosa SUN — MUSEUM NOW OPEN — The museum at the east edge of town is now open Tuesday through Sunday, starting at 10 a.m. each day. There are many interesting historical exhibits there, as well as displays of artifacts. The museum is operated by the Upper San Juan Historical Society and anyone is welcome to visit it.
