Special to The PREVIEW
The word is out … the tickets are in!
Seeds of Learning now has tickets available for the Little Black Dress Affair, to be held Oct. 5. Several tables have already been sold.
Individual tickets are $40; reserved tables closer to the runway are $360 and seat eight friends. Each year, this event sells out early, so come and get your tickets now.
“All That Glitters” promises to be full of fabulous, feminine fun all evening. Ladies dressed in their lovely “little black somethings” and draped in their finest accessories will enter a beautifully transformed room. A silent auction of unique, unusual items for all levels of bidders will start off the night. These thoughtfully designed groupings will include some delightful surprises not seen before and guests will be enchanted by the “chair-ity” auction created by some extraordinarily creative women of Pagosa.
In between bidding, you’ll want to take a few moments for the talented Jeff Laydon to photograph you with your dressy friends as a memory of the evening. After all, how often do you get a photograph with your favorite girlfriends all looking so beautiful.
After you have bid, vamped and sampled the delightful appetizers on your table, our fantastic team of Seeds table captains will serve you a lovely, delectable delight from Alley House Grille. Their staff has pulled out all the stops this year to create some wonderful culinary creations that you’ll love.
As you enjoy the food and wine, the show will begin. Mary McKeehan will be our mistress of ceremonies, and that is all we’ll share about what might happen from that point on.
Don’t miss this sixth annual fund-raising event for Seeds of Learning. The evening is all about glitter, fun and helping educate the low income/at risk preschoolers of Pagosa.
