The Kolors for Keagan 5k color walk/run fundraiser is being held on Saturday, April 18, at Fort Lewis College under the clock tower to benefit Pagosa’s Keagan Smith.
Signup begins at 10 a.m. and the run begins at 10:30 a.m. Lawn games, a drawing for awesome prizes and live music by Elder Grown will follow.
After being in a car accident about a year and a half ago and losing the ability to use his legs, Smith is now persevering and looking to raise $75,000. This money will go toward a special computerized brace (C-brace by Ottobot-Wounded Warrior Foundation) that will allow him to be “fully ambulatory.”
