The Upper San Juan Health Services District board adopted and approved a 2014 budget during a special meeting and public budget hearing yesterday. In the absence of any public attendance or comment, the board agreed to appropriate funds as expressed in the proposed 2014 budget, subject to final mill levy certification from Archuleta County.
Based on the provided income statement, projected net revenue, income gained less the expenses directly related to the sale of asserts or services, will increase 23 percent next year. This increase is in large part due to a 26-percent projected increase in patient revenues, including both inpatient and outpatient revenues, and collected professional fees.
